Regardless of doctrine, we believe in the Spirit realm. Unfortunately, belief in the Super Natural is often given a bad rap. Most stereotypical assumptions are often fueled by fear. People fear what they don't understand and cannot control. There are many questions that have gone unanswered for years simply because in some religious doctrines, it is taught that to even speak of the supernatural outside of the pulpit is taboo. It's important to understand that it is okay to have different protocols of spiritual practices and yet show respect to the traditions that we do not practice. We will discuss the various methods of spiritual protection used by magical practitioners to ward off evil, attacks, and danger. We will explore how to identify different forms of magical attack, how to counter them, and the differences between various forms of protection. The workshop will present participants with a thorough strategy for building their protection to keep themselves and their loved ones safe from baneful sorcery. Participants will be taught, through a hands on workshop, how to build a powerful protective bottle spell which can be used for protection. Armed with knowledge and a powerful protection bottle, students will be ready to handle any danger thrown their way.

Papa Gee:
Papa Gee is a Nashville-based diviner, perfumer, soap-maker, concoctor of potions,
business owner, and author. After practicing Appalachian folk magic for many years,
he took up the study of African American conjure, and has brought them together
as a teacher and practitioner of Southern Folk Magic.
This year he will lead a workshop on the history and use of lucky charms for personal power,
featuring his new book written with Catherine Yronwode entitled
Amulets, Charms, and Talismans in the Hoodoo and Conjure Tradition.
Madame Nadia:
Madame Nadia has been a diviner for over 20 years, known as both a fortune telling
expert and a teacher of the oracular arts. Madame Nadia is an initiated Shakta Tantrika,
Palera, and Quimbandera, and holds a Masters of Arts in Communications.
She is a magical content creator, filmmaker, celebrity psychic, glamour activist,
Priestess of The Gloss Fox, and an Exquisite Life coach.
This year Madame Nadia will present a workshop on "The Casting of Words: Power
Speech & The Spellwork Mindset."
Ms. Robin:
Ms. Robin is the Bay Area's premier spiritual sister, a gifted reader, root
worker, and radio personality. She, along with miss catherine yronwode, founded
the Annual AISC Hoodoo Rootwork Workshops. She is best known for her money
spells, gambling spells, love spells, curse spells and doll baby spells.
This year she takes us to the graveyard to learn how to work at a grave site
and how to contact graveyard spirits, ancestors, and the dead!
Angela Marie Horner:
Angela Marie Horner discovered her gift for magic and dreaming true
while still a teen. She is a member of AIRR, works at the Lucky Mojo
Curio Company, and at Missionary Independent Spiritual Church,
where she gives readings, and serves as a Candle Deacon setting
lights for clients from around the world.
A graduate of the National Holistic Institute of Massage in
Petaluma, she is also a Certified Massage Therapist and health
educator, and a First aid / CPR instructor with the American Red
Cross, and has a long history of caregiving, both elder care and
diabetic care. She will be providing massage throughout the
weekend and she will be participating in this year's Panel
Discussion Workshop on Drawing Good Luck.
Dr. Jeremy Weiss:
Dr. Jeremy is a graduate of catherine yronwode's Hoodoo Rootwork
Correspondence Course, a member of Hoodoo Psychics and AIRR, and
a specialist in the crafting of amulet bowls, talismans. and charms.
He is the author of "Sefer Ha-Sheilat Sefer: Divination with the Seven
Biblical Prophetesses" and the provides readings and rootwork services
through his ministry at the Temple of Miriam the Prophetess. This year he
will be teaching a workshop on the newly revised version of the classic
Terrors of the Evil Eye Exposed by Henri Gamache. The book,
restored, revised and edited by catherine yronwode and Dr. Jeremy Weiss,
debuts at this year's Festival.
Papa Newt:
Raised within the Catholic tradition and a long time student of
magical traditions and sorcery, Papa Newt is well-versed in working
Christian magic and other magical styles to help you conjure fresh
possibilities. Papa Newt will be a part of this years "Overcoming Hardship
Panel Discussion."
